undrest. is an artisan crafted, luxury woman's clothing brand based out of Los Angeles, CA. The founder, ceo and creative director is Maria Paz Navales. The first season launched in 2007 with a Supima cotton lingerie collection, eventually evolving into high end, fine haute couture lingerie. The brand has now grown to include a swimwear line called undrest: by the sea. and now offers a contemporary sportswear and ready-to-wear line called undrest : drest.

The entire brand is vertically produced in an 8000 sq.ft. atelier located in East Los Angeles. undrest. works with only the finest sewers who are tested for skill level prior to being hired. They are then intensely trained in-house to craft garments using the finest sewing techniques to insure a long life for each garment. French seaming and hand-sewing is greatly used in many of its' garments as the brand strives to make the garment "just as beautiful on the inside, as it is on the outside."

Maria Paz Navales personally sources cotton and trims locally, and then travels the world sourcing the finest in French Leavers Lace from couture houses in northern France, European cashmere and cotton yarns from Italy and Spain, and Liberty fabric from London.

undrest. is produced in Los Angeles through their team of 12 sewers located just steps away from the designer, and not overseas thousands of miles away! Craftsmanship is modeled in the same manner as that of a "true atelier," where the designer thought up their creation and then had the garment patterned and sewn in the room next door.  Each undrest. garment should be treated with great care and attention, as this is how the garments are created from the beginning!

Sustainability
undrest. is produced locally in Los Angeles, making the brand naturally green as producing locally decreases its' carbon footprint. Off-shore, non-domestic production greatly contributes towards the earth's carbon footprint. We make great efforts in re-using fabric waste by donating fabric remnants to various charities and organizations whom in turn create unique items such as cotton baby blankets for children living with cancer as well as unique garments created by local fashion college students. The Designer
Maria Paz Navales conceived undrest. in 2007. The original idea was to fill a void for a basic, modernized, Brazilian Cut 100% Supima Cotton Panty. Her love for fine natural fabrics is the foundation for every single design and detail that is undrest. "I take inspiration from the places that I love most...the streets of Paris, London and Sao Paulo, the beaches of Biarritz, San Sebastian, Rio De Janeiro, Buzios, Ilhabela, and of course Los Angeles and the entire coast of California. I have a deep love and appreciation for the art of business. I photograph, design, and creative direct the entire brand and am on site daily in the atelier working hand in hand with my team of pattern makers, seamstresses, and production sewers to bring the cultures and styles of the world to you through the designs of undrest. Sizing
Sizing Information: undrest. products have a contemporary fit. However, we do not adhere to a traditional numerical size gradation because our garments are very flexible and intended to be enjoyed in comfort. Because of the elastic in many of our pieces, there is a lot of give in the garment allowing it to stretch to fit different body types comfortably. Below, please find our size chart intended only as a guideline to help you choose the right size for you.

Size 1 = XS/0-2; 30/32 A
Size 2 = S/4-6; 32/34 A/B
Size 3 = M/8-10; 34/36 C
Size 4 = L/XL 10-14; 36/38 D

Webstore Return Policy
undrest. strives to make your on line shopping experience the best that it can be! Should you decide to change your mind, returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase provided that the item is unworn with the tags still attached. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment, less shipping. All returns must receive a Return Authorization Code by contacting returns@undrest.com and must be within 30 days from the original date of the order.
